What the inspection covers
An Electrical Installation Condition Report examines the condition of the fixed wiring, protective devices, earthing and bonding, accessories and a representative sample of the installation where access permits. Electrical tests help reveal problems that cannot be found visually.
A clear, evidence-led report
Observations are explained in plain language and coded according to their safety significance. Photographs may be included where they help make a finding clear. Recommendations are specific to the installation—not a generic shopping list.

Pricing
EICR up to 6 circuits: £220. Additional circuits are £25 each. Testing is intentionally thorough and typically takes several hours depending on the property, access and findings.
Common questions
Does an old consumer unit automatically fail?
No. Age alone is not a classification. Its condition, location, protective measures and the risks present are assessed.
Will power be interrupted?
Yes. Safe testing requires circuits to be isolated at points during the inspection. Sensitive equipment should be shut down beforehand.
Does the report include repairs?
The EICR records the condition of the installation. Any remedial work is quoted separately, so the inspection remains an independent assessment.
